On February 28 Volunteer Managers from across the province will converge in Sidney for the AVRBC (Administrators of Volunteer Resources BC) AGM. They’ve kindly asked me to be their keynote speaker–I’m pumped to do it!
In this 2 ½ hour session I’ll first talk about how to develop business and professional partnerships: best practices, strategic approaches, and common pitfalls. Then I’ll go into how to generate deep “buy-in,” illustrating the difference between the “hard skills” and the “soft skills,” and digging into 5 key practices.
It’s open to the public and is compelling information for those who work for non-profits and/or community initiatives. To find out more go to http://www.avrbc.com/cgi/page.cgi?_id=17&evt=154
