In the coming weeks, on vehicles across the city, you’ll see a lot more HeroWork decals.
If you drive by the reno site on Oak Bay Ave, you’ll also have the opportunity to marvel at the 4 foot by 5 foot project sign (see pic) that will be installed on the site in the coming days.
All of this is thanks to the generosity and community support of Ken Wallace, owner of Garside Signs. Last year he helped HeroWork with all of it’s decals (and there were a lot). This year he’s doing it again!
Without Garside, the visibility of our program would be diminished. The sense of pride that our contractors and sponsors feel when they drive around town with a HeroWork decal would be non-existant.
The other day I was talking to Evan Humpfries of Evan’s Electric and he said, “I’ve seen those decals around town. I want one. They’re awesome!”
“Well now that you’re involved,” I said, “you’ll get one.” Thanks to Ken and Garside Signs.
