Mudge House & Fund-a-Reno

Charities in need renovations come in all sorts and sizes.

For example, we are investigating the potential of Mudge House run by the Laren Society. Mudge House is a heritage building on Dallas Road near the breakwater. It’s also a half-way house for men who are transitioning back into society. This may not seem important to some, but these men are making an earnest effort to rebuild their lives while in a building that is 100 years old and looks like it. Watch this simple one-shot I-phone video to get a small glimpse.

Here is a list of the Fund-a-Reno events coming soon:

  1. Advance Premiere & Fundraiser on Sat Nov 29 at 6pm. This is the kick-off. A dress up affair with dinner, wine, and dancing. You’ll be the first to see the documentary about the Threshold Housing Radical Reno. Lots of special surprises and a 6-piece band. Find out more here.
  2. HeroWork’s Inaugural Crowdfunding Campaign. This will start on Monday Dec 1st at 5pm and run for three weeks, ending on Dec 21st. The platform will enable people from all over to power up HeroWork. Stay tuned and get ready for this one!
