There are only a few weeks away from breaking ground on the Power To Be project!
It’s going to be an amazing and wonderful Radical Renovation that will transform much of the former Prospect Lake Golf Course into a space that can be used by people experiencing a barrier so that they can connect with and experience our great BC outdoors.
But we still need a lot of hands to make it happen. See the list and pics below of what we are looking to accomplish. Then get involved today by signing up for a volunteer shift.
- Campgrounds with raised platforms
- Post and beam fire pit structure with a turf roof
- Toilet enclosures
- Assessable pathways
- Big kayak storage
- Ramp to dock
- Fencing and other landscaping elements
- Food and small educational centre
- Cladding and roofing of the “fairway” shack
See the pics below to get some of the real scope of work. Then volunteer today. All kinds of roles still are available, but we still need a lot of help on the weekend of July 15-16.
